The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really happening.
