Team—
I know you all just wrapped up your town hall - I trust you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the recent updates. Last time I sent you all a note, I mentioned the following: “I believe in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and talented designers we have had the opportunity to collaborate with - and we’re excited for that relationship to endure.”
With your dedication and versatility, particularly over the past twelve months, you continue to prove that.
The player input from last autumn’s the game playtest was enlightening. It validated the potential of a action-packed game but made clear we still had work to do. It uncovered the need for a more distinct identity.
It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve progressed. You embraced the feedback to mind and revamped the title with a refreshed vision - one that’s poised to deliver on its potential to our audience.
The belief in Project ETHOS grows every day. To advance the remarkable advancement you’ve made, It is a pleasure to announce the new hire as the new Lead of the team. Following several months of discussions, he comes aboard us on next week.
Ben’s guidance and expertise in the PVP shooter space is vast, having dedicated the last 15 years creating and managing some of the most well-known franchises in the industry, for example the acclaimed shooter, and most recently, Apex Legends.
Please join me in receiving Ben soon. We are all excited to keep witnessing the evolution of the game in the weeks to come.
